Yantai Yanchuang Polyurethane Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Yantai, Shandong Province. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales, and import/export of polyurethane materials. The company integrates innovative development and industrial application of polyurethane elastomers (CPU), polyurethane prepolymers, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) pellets, modified MDI series, polyurethane sports products, and various polyurethane articles. We are committed to providing global customers with high-performance, customized polyurethane system solutions, helping them gain a competitive edge in the market. Yanchuang Technology consistently adheres to technological innovation as its primary driving force, optimizing product structures and targeting end markets. Our products are widely used in industries and daily life sectors, including industrial sealing, home applications, automotive and transportation, wires and cables, apparel and footwear materials, construction, electronics, and sports equipment.

The group company also includes Shandong Huihong New Materials Co., Ltd., Yantai Dongcheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Shandong Lingji New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Each company operates different product types and, together with Yantai Yanchuang Polyurethane Technology Co., Ltd., expands domestic and international business and lays out the upstream and downstream polyurethane industry chain.

In the field of polyurethane products, we have developed a range of items including seals, shock absorbers, tubular components, and low-temperature protective gear. These products boast excellent properties such as high wear resistance, high elasticity, and cold-temperature resistance, enabling them to meet the demanding operational requirements under various harsh conditions.

In the field of TPU granules, we offer a diverse range of product series, including polyester-based, polyether-based, and high-end polycaprolactone-based formulations. These materials are widely used in applications such as pipes, footwear, automotive components, seals, and sports protective gear, and boast excellent mechanical properties and processing versatility.

We also possess unique technological advantages in polyurethane composite systems. We offer scientifically optimized A/B material blending solutions that enable customers to achieve precise mixing ratios, efficient curing, and process stability, significantly enhancing production efficiency and ensuring consistent product quality. Our composite systems have undergone rigorous laboratory testing and field validation, guaranteeing exceptional stability and reliability for every batch of products.

In terms of technological R&D, Yanchuang Technology has already completed numerous technology collaborations and project developments that have made significant industry impact. Our performance evaluation project for the PTMG series products, conducted in collaboration with South Korea’s Hyosung Group, has laid a solid foundation for the development of high-performance TPU materials. Meanwhile, our research on the application performance of PCL products, carried out in partnership with Hunan Juren Chemical, has broadened the prospects for polyurethane materials in the field of biodegradable applications. In addition, the company has achieved key breakthroughs in areas such as high-dynamic-performance polyurethane materials, solvent-resistant polyurethane systems, and room-temperature-curing polyurethane materials used for Nike shoe upper trims, demonstrating its strong capabilities in technological R&D and engineering implementation.

History

2025: Moving Forward to the New

In January, we launched the “Digital R&D” project and deployed an integrated smart factory system comprising DCS, MES, and ERP, aiming to reduce operating costs by 15%.
In June, the foundation was laid for Phase III, a 8,000 m² clean workshop for high-purity prepolymers. Production is expected to begin in Q2 2026, with a total annual production capacity reaching 25,000 tons.
In September, we released our three-year strategy for 2025-2027: focusing on three key areas—high-end equipment sealing, new-energy battery packs, and hydrogen energy storage and transportation—and aiming to become a world-class innovation hub for specialized polyurethane materials.
Yantai Yanchuang uses technology as its oar and innovation as its sail, continuously providing global customers with high-performance, sustainable polyurethane solutions.

2024: Set Standards

In April, we completed the construction of China’s first flexible production line for solvent-free hot-melt polyurethane additives with a capacity of 2,000 tons per year. In July, we took the lead in drafting the group standard “Maximum Limit of Free TDI in Polyurethane Prepolymers,” filling a gap in the industry. In October, we were awarded the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Shandong Province, and our company’s technology center was upgraded to a provincial-level enterprise technology center.

2023: Continuous Improvement

In February, the company was selected as a “Specialized, Fine, and New” SME in Shandong Province. In June, the YC-CR® high-transparency wind turbine blade adhesive prepolymer obtained German GL certification and became a Tier-2 supplier for Envision Energy and Dongfang Electric. In December, the company’s sales exceeded 120 million yuan, with R&D investment accounting for 8.7%. It has been granted 24 patents (including 11 invention patents).

2022 Expand the Circle

In May, the second-phase workshop went into operation, increasing the total production capacity to 12,000 tons per year. In September, we jointly established the “Polyurethane New Materials Joint Laboratory” with Qingdao University of Science and Technology and launched a project focused on marine anti-corrosion grouting materials. Throughout the year, exports accounted for 18% of total sales, and our products entered the markets of six countries in Europe and Southeast Asia for the first time.

2021: A Leap Forward

In March, the self-developed YC-HT® high-temperature-resistant oil-sealing prepolymer broke the import monopoly and was granted three national invention patents. In August, sales revenue exceeded 50 million yuan, and the team grew to over 50 members. In December, the company was recognized as the “One Enterprise, One Technology” R&D center of Yantai City and was awarded one key R&D project under Shandong Province’s initiative.

2020: Strengthening the Foundation

In January, the R&D building, the experimental center, and the Class A warehouse were simultaneously topped out. In July, a pilot production line capable of producing 5,000 tons of specialty prepolymers annually was completed, with one-time feed-in operation successfully achieved. In November, the company obtained dual ISO9001 & ISO14001 certifications and was included in the “National Database of Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.”

2019: Setting Off

In June, the company was officially registered and established with a registered capital of 30 million yuan, and it set up its headquarters in the Chemical Industry Park of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. In December, construction began on a 42-mu advanced R&D and manufacturing base for polyurethanes, positioned as a “pioneer in domestically replacing imported specialty polyurethane prepolymers.”
