Product Details

Polyurethane billets, grade 95ES, are polyurethane turned billets designed for general-purpose sealing applications. They can operate continuously over a temperature range from -40°C to +90°C and feature three key characteristics: ease of machining, low compression set, and high resilience—all at a highly cost-effective price.

Compared to traditional molding processes, machining 95ES tubular material via turning offers significant advantages, including a short delivery cycle, high dimensional accuracy, and excellent turning performance. It is particularly well-suited for the production of small-batch, multi-variety, high-precision seals. This material lives up to its reputation as the “king of wear resistance” among polyurethane materials, while also combining the elasticity of rubber with the strength of plastics, enabling it to maintain long-term stability and durability even in harsh environments.

Therefore, the 95ES turning billet is an ideal choice for hydraulic and pneumatic seals, cushioning bushings for construction machinery, valve and pump components, and various wear-resistant transmission elements. Whether you need to manufacture O-rings, retaining rings, bushings, or other complex-shaped seals, the 95ES offers you a cost-effective, high-performance, and reliable solution.

Performance characteristics

Excellent mechanical strength: Under dynamic sealing conditions, the rebound response is less than 0.05 seconds, effectively compensating for eccentric loads. With high tensile strength, high tear resistance, and excellent flexibility and resilience, the component remains resistant to fracture or permanent deformation even when subjected to high pressures and frequent movements.

Superior wear resistance: Its outstanding wear resistance significantly extends the service life of seals and reduces the frequency of equipment maintenance.

Wide temperature resistance: The long-term operating temperature range is from -40℃ to 90℃, and it can withstand short-term high temperatures up to 110℃, making it suitable for a variety of working environments.

Good machinability: The material exhibits excellent turning performance, enabling high-efficiency and high-precision moldless turning and forming.

Resistance to Multiple Media: As per the ISO1817 immersion test—volume expansion in IRM903 oil (100℃ × 70h) is less than 2.6%; volume expansion in deionized water (85℃ × 168h) is less than 2%.

Terms of Use

Temperature range The long-term operating temperature ranges from -40℃ to +90℃; the short-term peak temperature can reach up to +110℃.
Working medium Applicable media: Mineral hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, water, grease, common weak acid and weak alkaline solutions.
Pressure and Speed This product is suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems with pressures up to 400 bar, making it ideal for reciprocating motion applications ranging from low to medium speeds.
Installation and Operating Conditions It is recommended that mating metal surfaces have an appropriate surface finish. Surfaces that are too rough will exacerbate wear, while surfaces that are too smooth will hinder the formation of a lubricating film.

Storage and transportation

① The product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight.

② It is recommended that the storage environment temperature be maintained between -10℃ and +30℃, with relative humidity not exceeding 70%.

③ During transportation, necessary protective measures should be taken to prevent the product from being subjected to severe impacts, compression, scratches, or exposure to rainwater.

④ Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions (such as intense sunlight, rain, or snow), and ensure that the packaging remains intact.

⑤ Under the specified storage conditions, the recommended shelf life for 95ES polyurethane tubular material is 36 months from the date of manufacture. To achieve optimal performance, it is recommended to follow the “first-in, first-out” principle.

Turning cylindrical workpieces (polyurethane cast pipes)

Polyurethane billets, grade 95ES, are polyurethane turned billets designed for general-purpose sealing applications. They can operate continuously over a temperature range from -40°C to +90°C and feature three key characteristics: ease of machining, low compression set, and high resilience—offering excellent value for money.

Vulcanized rubber (polyurethane valve seal)

Valve rubber, also known as “valve diaphragm,” is an elastic sealing element made from highly abrasion-resistant polyurethane (PU). It is installed between the valve body and valve seat of fracturing pumps, mud pumps, and cementing trucks, serving as a unidirectional valve seal. Its service life directly determines the number of consecutive fracturing stages and the efficiency of the operation.

Cold-weather protective gear for ice and snow sports

The polyurethane cold-weather protective gear for ice and snow sports is specially designed for extremely cold environments, directly tackling the extreme temperature challenges ranging from -20°C to -45°C and maintaining outstanding performance even in severe cold.

Mud pump piston head (polyurethane-sealed piston)

The polyurethane mud pump piston head is a high-performance core component developed by our company based on our mature polyurethane elastomer technology. It is widely used in mud pump equipment for applications such as mining, oilfields, geological exploration, and river dredging.
